New Mission Statement.
At Pilates Staten Island, our mission is to guide each client on a transformational journey— physically, mentally, and personally. Rooted in the original principles of Contrology, we believe Pilates is far more than a workout. It is a lifelong practice of self-awareness, discipline, and
change.

We honor each individual’s pace and progression, offering private, hands-on instruction in a supportive and educational environment. Through consistency, commitment, and intentional movement, clients gain strength, clarity, and confidence—both in body and in life.
Contrology is not about quick fixes. It’s about deep, lasting transformation. It invites us to see ourselves differently, move with purpose, and age with grace. As Joseph Pilates taught, “If your spine is inflexibly stiff at 30, you are old. If it is completely flexible at 60, you are young.”
We are committed to your growth, your vitality, and your lifelong movement practice.
